Everything you need to know about
WW Athletics
We answer the most common questions from athletes, institutions, sponsors, and organizations that are approaching us for the first time.
When and why was WW Athletics Agency founded?
WW Athletics Agency was founded by Julia Garcia, an international athlete during the 1980s. The agency was born out of a real need: Julia experienced firsthand the shortcomings of sports management at the time and decided to create the structure that she herself would have needed as an athlete.
Four decades later, that same conviction continues to drive the agency: to build from within the sport, with the athlete at the center of every decision.
What makes WW Athletics Agency a leading agency in world athletics?
Fundamentally, it's about track record and network. Forty years of continuous presence at the elite level of world athletics doesn't happen overnight. We've built strong relationships with federations, meeting directors, sponsors, and organizations on four continents, and that network is now one of our most valuable assets.
Added to this is a portfolio of 75 represented athletes from ten countries — Olympic medalists, world record holders and emerging talents — which reflects the agency's ability to work at the highest level consistently.
What countries and disciplines do the athletes represented by the agency come from?
What are the most outstanding achievements of WW Athletics Agency athletes?
Among our represented athletes are Olympic medalists in multiple Games, medalists in World Championships in the absolute and under-23 categories, continental champions in European and Pan American circuits, and record holders with world, continental and national records — both active and historical.
We do not publish detailed lists out of respect for the privacy of our athletes, but we are happy to share more information in the context of a direct conversation with institutions, sponsors, or event organizers.
Can any institution contract the organization of an athletics event?
Yes. We work with city councils, provincial councils, autonomous communities, federations, universities, and private promoters who want to organize leading athletics competitions.
The size of the event is not what determines whether we work together — what matters is that there is a real project and a commitment to doing it right.
We manage the project in a comprehensive way: from the design and application phase to the execution on the day of the event, including athlete recruitment, technical direction, logistics, media and commercial structure.
Which organizations can benefit from WW Athletics Agency's consulting services?
What format do consulting projects have and how long do they usually last?
Every project is different because every client has a different context. The process always begins with a diagnostic phase to understand the client's current situation, objectives, and constraints. From there, we design a concrete roadmap and support its implementation.
The duration varies between one-off projects of a few weeks — such as a strategic report or the design of a specific program — and long-term collaborations with organizations that want an ongoing advisory relationship.
